Experimental and optimization studies of ultrasonic-assisted friction stir weldments of AA2014-T651 using graph theory

چکیده

The present study focuses on development of mechanical characteristics in ultrasonic vibration assisted friction stir welding (UAFSW) AA 2014-T651 weldment using graph theory algorithm and utility concept. A set UAFSW experiments were carried out plain taper threaded cylindrical tool pin profile weldments at different levels rotation speed traverse experimental results for the tensile strength, yield percentage elongation, impact micro hardness collected. Microstructural studies also made correlated with found that increased. process parameters optimized by proposed methodology as 1100 rpm rotational 40 mm/min speed. to be 431.69 MPa, 307.47 11.66%, 8.32 J, 139 HV respectively optimum working condition. weld joint obtained a profiled possesses 90% efficiency.
